We took a quick walk around Landeck and saw the castle, so we decided to hike up. Hanging out the window of one of the towers was a long braid with a bow, ostensibly Rapunzel's! We had a beer and enjoyed the incredible views. The...More

This castle is very easy to access, it even caters for disabled access. It’s a short walk from the town Center with some parking. The museum is small but sufficient and full of historical facts. Be sure to check if it’s open because is closed...More

The castle is located high up from the town and reachable by a brisk uphill walk or by car as there is a small car part outside the castle. Lovely views of the town and the valley below.

Looks a difficult walk, but quite easy, its a museum mainly and quite interesting, the views are spectacular but beware it's all steps I did see a weird looking wheelchair but I wouldn't call it easy access for disabled. 7euro entry fee.

Beautiful building on the hillside but not disabled friendly, its a long track up and having walking problems did not attempt it.

The castle location and exterior appearance can be seen from many places in Landeck including from the passing trains. Its location and exterior are good to observe. Also the views from its location is equally nice. However, that is about it.

Beautiful views from castle. We walked around outside the castle and debated if to pay and go in. We decided not to as we thought it was expensive and was not convinced there was a lot to see.
