4.50 Euros return per person. C10 bus stop at bottom. Holds 12 people per car and runs every half an hour. However runs more frequently if more people. Tiny picturesque village which makes an effort to be a tourist attraction but is not. Several walks...More

Short but memorable ride to darling little town of Pigra, high above Lake Como. It was the perfect place for a quiet hike and a peaceful stroll through the town.

Nice little trip, worth the visit - the views at the top are ruined really but that is because of the electrical cables, the cable car is still worth it, even saw deer, pigs and cattle on the short trip

We took the cable car from Argegno up to the lovely village of Pigra. Over looking lake Como. Where we explored for couple of hours The scenery was stunning, then went for a lovely lunch at Le Lanterne restaurant. This was a fabulous day.

We walked from the pier about 10 mins to the cable car. After a short wait we were quickly taken to the top to what was a great view and photo opportunity. Well worth a visit.

I don't think you can book tickets in advance but I don't think there is any need to anyway. If it is busy they will run every 15 minutes instead of every 30. When we went last year, the cost was €4.50 for an adult return... More
