For a small town museum, I thought the exhibits were relevant, interesting and nicely displayed. The staff was attentive and although we had a language barrier, we were made to feel comfortable. All 5 of us enjoyed our afternoon at this museum.

The museum is a must see in Miercurea Ciuc. It is hosted by an ancient castle. We enjoyed the stories told by the movies, and we could take pictures dressed as Austrians. This was really funny. People working there were all very nice, but made...More

Whenever we come here,we do enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the place. My favourite dish is tagliatele with truffles and when it comes about dessert that will be in my case -tortul casei, that means the cake of the day.

The history of the museum dates back to the 19th century. In 1876 Imre Tivai Nagy brought into being the Association of theSzekler Museum of Csik(Ciuc).

A very interesting museum in the heart of the city, nicely restored. You should take one hour and a half to visit it.

I recommend to visit this nice museum, not only for history lovers. The interactive part of the museum is really fun for small and big kids too :)

We spent a good hour or so visiting the permanent exhibition of this museum, which presents the life and activities of the local Hungarian population. The personnel is helpful and nice, ready to answer any questions. We took some funny photos dressed like the guards.
