For a small town museum, I thought the exhibits were relevant, interesting and nicely displayed. The staff was attentive and although we had a language barrier, we were made to feel comfortable. All 5 of us enjoyed our afternoon at this museum.
The museum is a must see in Miercurea Ciuc. It is hosted by an ancient castle.
We enjoyed the stories told by the movies, and we could take pictures dressed as Austrians. This was really funny.

If you come in the city it is ok to visit the museum.
My only problem was, even if we are in Romania, the first language to comunicate here was hungarian. In talking, on videos in the museum, in everything here.

Whenever we come here,we do enjoy the food,the atmosphere and the place.My favourite dish is tagliatele with truffles and when it comes about dessert that will be in my case -tortul casei,that means the cake of the day.
They've really nicely restored this castle. The inside has several museums showing life like it was hundreds of years ago as well as an ethnographic museum.

We spent a good hour or so visiting the permanent exhibition of this museum, which presents the life and activities of the local Hungarian population. The personnel is helpful and nice, ready to answer any questions. We took some funny photos dressed like the guards.
