Not normally inclined to boat cruises, we were tempted by the beautiful morning. The scenery is beautiful and our captain, David knowledgeable and interesting. The trip was about an hour long and it showed the beauty of our country at its best.

Another must do at Ashford - (another reason you need at least three days) Cruise is fun (a bit cold), the crew very welcoming and the tour really interesting. I highly recommend it!

Well worth boarding at the Castle for the hour cruise around Lough Corrib. The welcome we received was lovely and views from the boat including Ashford Castle made it a special trip.
