DO NOT BOOK TOURS WITH CYAN ADVENTURES! THRY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS (at least in Moalboal) but Tripadvisor/Viator still booking and charging for tours! The only "fun" I will have is getting my money back.

We had the most amazing day canyoneering from start to finish with Cyan adventures! It’s worth every single penny as the equipment is much better quality than any other tours we saw throughout the day. I was very thankful for the wetsuit and protective gear especially when we saw people with scrapes from the rocks and also it does get quite cold in the water after a while so the wet suit helped.
Ren our guide was fantastic a real credit to the company. Nothing was too much trouble, he helped me navigate the rocks and took loads of photos and videos of us throughout the day. It’s quiet at the minute so it ended up just being me and my husband on the tour. Ren could have easily rushed us through but he made sure we took in the scenery and didn’t rush us at any point. In fact he made sure we had breaks including a snack half way through and lunch at the end, which was very tasty!
We’d 100% book with Cyan again and recommend everyone else to!

Went canyoneering with cyan. We chose this tour because my GF was apprehensive and wanted a bit more peace of mind. 100% the right decision!!
Picked up early, met out guide Russel, lifted out in wetsuit and boots, and set off. Turns out we were the only 2 in his group which resulted in a fantastic personalised experience.
He guided us through the falls, ensuring my GF felt safe and secure but I still got the buzz of the jumps.
Great lunch afterwards and chit chat on the way home!
Videos and pictures sent via email a day later!!
Fantastic day out, made primarily by our fantastic guide Russel and secondly but the wetsuit offered which makes the day a bit more comfortable!!
Would recommend!!

The canyoneering trip is an amazing day and loads of fun. The tour guides added an extra element to the day...very friendly, funny and helpful. This company in particular is very big on safety (quite rare in SE Asia!), and this is very apparent when you see some of the other groups going through the falls, with nothing more than bathing suits and life vests on.
And lastly, the food at the end of the tour was very tasty and plenty of it to go round the group.
Use Cyan for your tour and you won't be disappointed!

We had a great experience with Cyan for our canyoneering experience. We were picked up on time, were outfitted in great gear and were guided seamlessly throughout the day by Jessie, who was both professional and lots of fun. We felt safe and in good hands throughout the entire day. We ate great veggie food at a restaurant after the activity (upon our request). The pictures were sent to us shortly after the activity and look good. Cyan charges a bit more for this activity than most operators, but we felt it was worth it as we used much higher quality gear than any other group we saw. We strongly reccomend!

My partner and I had a lovely time on this tour! The lunch is served late, just to prepare you! Take some snacks and your own water for earlier in the day. We visited 3 quiet and beautiful waterfalls that we wouldn’t have found easily without the guide. The guide was patient and friendly. I would 100% recommend for people who want a day of adventure without too much adrenaline! (There is an option for jumping at some waterfalls but it is not required!).
We did discover later that there were some cheaper options for similar tours but we have no regrets as we got a private tour for group price and had a full and satisfying day out!

What can I say, I walked passed, saw a canyoning trip to kawasan falls that I wanted to do, spoke to a guy outside who said, go inside and speak to someone on there. I went in, asked a guy and he looked at me up and down and almost laughed and said 'no' with no explanation, no alternatives. It was almost funny how outrageous it was. I couldn't wait to leave this review!

Thank you for your review.
We have also Korean and Chinese customers joining our tours and some of them barely speak any English.
You mention you "asked a guy", "speak to someone" so maybe you spoke with one of our customers?
All our staff has uniforms and all get extra bonus for each guest we have.
So i think it is very, very unlikely that you spoke with any of our staff.

It was really nice. I am really glad that I choose this company, because they provided us shoes and all clothes need to do make this tour. Can not image that I am whole day in a swimmsuit like during the sliding and because the tour is not on the sun so only in swimmsuit I would freeze.
They take a photo and video of you. And provide a snack and lunch. So you do not need anything with you. That is really helpful because you are not worried about your things.
Our guide Jessie was really nice and helpful with everything. All of then was nice.
It is bit expensive than others tours but it is worth for it.

Cyan Adventures was awesome. They let us start at sunrise to avoid the crowds. We were then only ones canyoneering that early. The guide was super nice. He took lots of pictures and recorded a GoPro Video too which he immediately shared with us via YouTube and Facebook. Also, provided a great lunch, wetsuit, shoes, helmet, and life jacket. They even let me use one of their floaties and strap for my GoPro. Included hotel pickup and drop-off. Super fun if you like adventures. Would highly recommend.

Can you confirm hotel pickup from Magic Island resort in Moalboal? I am very nervous about missing my prepaid tour (and a day of diving to go on tour!)

Cyan Adventures here. For Canyoneering, we go to Kawasan Falls. But we have a family tour where we bring you to 3 other waterfalls: Dao Waterfalls, Aguinid Falls, Inambakan Falls or other falls (depending on season, water level, ...)

hi I am staying at Cebu city. I want to know how much is total package for whaleshark and canyoneering? also, am afraid of heights. if I can't jump off the cliffs any other way I can continue the journey?
OwnerFreeCyan
Cebu Island, Philippines67 contributions
Hello Martha, updated prices you find always on our website. Jumping is the fun part in the canyoneering. With our equipment and the help from our guides, nearly all guests overcome their fear of heights and are afterward proud of themselves. If you prefer more easy we recommend to do our Cebu South waterfall tour. No jumping there and amazing waterfalls and easy short hikes to the falls.

Hello Woomi.
The hiking/trekking is to Osmena peak. Hiking tour does not include Kawasan Falls. We start in Moalboal and drive to Badian where the hike starts. Updated prices and exact map and location you find all on our website.

Our canyoning starts at 9am and finishes around 4 to 5pm.
For your question: Yes, that is possible. We also offer VIP tours where customers can choose other start time. In combination with choosing a slightly shorter route in the canyon, skipping lunch and not taking longer rests during the tour being back in Moalboal at around 12 should be possible.

I'd love to do the whale shark and canyoneering tour with my 11-year old. Is this possible?
OwnerFreeCyan
Cebu Island, Philippines67 contributions
Yes, you can.
The minimum age for Kawasan canyoning is 10 years.
We also have kids sizes for the shoes and for the wetsuits so he is perfectly equipped and does not get cold.

Is the trip available on December? If that so, how different compare to the peak season like March or April.
OwnerFreeCyan
Cebu Island, Philippines67 contributions
Hello Yuttana,
we have all Cyan Adventures year round and every day.
If you mean the weather then there is not much difference from December compared to March or April.
December which is considered rainy season has Amihan winds which come from NE.
So December has more rain on the east side of Cebu but less on the West where Moalboal and Cyan is located.
If you mean the amount of travelers then you have to know that December can be already same amount of guests like in March or April.
Many European and US travelers leave short before Christmas to escape the winter at home.
Feel free to email us if you have more questions.
Kind regards,
Wolfgang

Thanks
OwnerFreeCyan
Cebu Island, Philippines67 contributions
Hello Avinashmu,
it is around 20 to 30 minutes drive from Moalboal to Kawasan Canyoning and around 45 to 60 minutes to Malabuyoc Canyoning.

Can a family with kids (5yrs) able to join?
OwnerFreeCyan
Cebu Island, Philippines67 contributions
Yes, we have to confirm that for Canyoning or our 3 Waterfall tour 5 years is too young.
But we also have Sardine Snorkeling and a Whaleshark experience tour which are ok for 5 years old.
No swimming skills are required since we use life vests for all tours and also the Snorkeling and Whaleshark tour.
