Mykonos was a stop on our Treasures of the Greek Isles tour in September 2017. It had a very nice old world feel. The locals were warm and friendly. We hired a private taxi to drive us up the mountain to an awe inspiring monastery....More

Exploring the narrow streets of Mykonos town is the best way to get to know this area and its people, not to mention it is also quite fun. Just get lost! We are a little obsessed with the color that seems to burst out from...More

This one of many great streets to shop on. Some very picturesque areas. This area was one of my favorites for local items that were not as overpriced as some.

Matoyianni street is a gem in Mykonos. It's a street with quaint little boutiques ranging from low end unbranded apparel to world's top brands. The shops and houses are a riot of colours, a sea of blues and greens. This is an art deco street...More

Lots of narrow paths in this town but Matoyianni Street has a lot of shopping locations although not many are real bargains. It is interesting to explore though you never know.

During the high time when the cruise ships are in, this street can be packed so it can be uncomfortable but there are a lot of great shops along here. While it is long, it is extremely narrow and with displays from the shops, it...More

Matoyianni Street could be considered the 'high street" of Mykonos but does not have the character of the other narrow and winding streets with white painted shops, colourfully painted doors, staircases of blue. The town was well maintained and despite the number of tourists, surprisingly...More
