I was really surprised by how much the local Buryat costumes, decorations and pretty much everything resembled Chinese stuff. Had some pretty interesting artworks from the religions. Worth going for a visit.

Our very informed guide led us through this fascinating museum of local costumes, customs, and other artifacts of history of this far-flung part of the world. Really worth a visit.
