If the waves are calm, this is a good swimming area compared to the other beaches this side of Guimaras. The other location is crowded. Fee to use the beach is minimal, beach is clean, sand is okay and the slope is friendly.

In July it was sunny when I swam so that added to the experience.

A most attractive beach with the ruins of the 1857 Guisi Lighthouse adjacent.

It had a sandy bottom. Some limited corals were 10 metres out but few fish.

There is a limited number of tables with bench seating under coconut palms. Entrance fee is P30.

We visited Guisi Beach during our lighthouse visit.

Guisi Beach is down the hill from the historical Guisi Lighthouse.

The beach has white sand and some lovely rock formations but contains a number of rocks.

Being so isolated it has few visitors.

Great spot for a quiet swim.

Guisi Beach is located about 45 minutes to one hour from Jordan Wharf. It is near the Guisi Lighthouse , a historical landmark in Nueva Valencia town. Guisi is a haven for those who love snorkeling and diving, and island hopping. It is good for swimming but make sure you wear some "aqua slippers" :)) to protect yourself from rocks. If you want some peace and quiet and paradise-like view, this is a good place to visit. Unlike other beaches near the wharf, the beach is most of the time crowded with guests during peak season or long weekends only (but not as crowded as other beach near the wharf). During regular days, it's accessibility limits the number of tourists or beach goers that visit it. There are accommodations in the area. The area is accessible by public trannspo (but make sure you know when is the first trip (in the morning) and the last trip going back to Jordan Wharf. To avoid inconvenience, most tourists rent van or tricycle to go to the place. Jeep to Guisi is available in Jordan Wharf (but they leave at specific time).

The snorkelling here was awesome - MANY fish. The water was clean and clear.
Plenty of shade under trees for a picnic also.

The place seems very nice to relax. No noise. No huge crowd..just u ..the village people.. The dogs around..
I didnt do swimming here .. Just rest some minutes took photos and enjoy the sun ;-) im not sure if there are resorts in guisi beach but am sure theres a resort at the back of the beach..i just dunno.the name of that resort very near to thw light house fews steps down to the beach.

After the rough road into the lighthouse there are two ways for your next stop below at the beach
First is to walk through the gate down the concrete stairs and you will find a path next to the rock cliff . There are two bamboo bridges and we handled it OK

Next would to be go back down the road and find the easier but longer trail leading down

Awesome white sand awIts you with tiny waves lapping at the shore
Large amounts of coral can be found slong yhe beach and the water is crystal clear
The beach is empty due to being harder to access than alihubod beach where easy access is granted via Ramens beach resort
Guisi beach is served by a few hotels on the northern side as well as one above
If you make it to the lighthouse be sure to walk down and enjoy the beach for a peace full time and a swim in the crystal waters

There are 3 resorts along the beach, with cottages and grilling areas. Sand is cream colored and fine, but there are some rocks and debris. Waves were kinda strong when we were there (maybe due to typhoon in Luzon and Eastern Visayas area). For those who just want to see the beach for a while, entrance fee ranges from P10-20, depending on which resort you entered (guisi clearwater resort charges 20/head). Hike up to reach Guisi lighthouse.
