Kenitra itself is not well know however if you get there, go to Plage de Mehdia. Beautiful beach, great scenary, nice people and not crowded. Apartment rentals are available. And try the local cuisine or have a camel ride along the beach.

I grew up in this little Moroccan coastal town. The beach is yellow sand, beautiful golden colors. Best times to visit are May and September, otherwise in mid summer it's too crowded and over priced (still cheap when compared to any American spots).

I had chance to visit beach at night and that impressed me so much. Imagine place with music, exhibitions, dancing people, attractions with children and calm ocean. That was great. Come to the beach especially at night :)

Rent a villa here so nice and peaceful. We visited it in March I've been told it's crowded in summer.

This is a nice beach that doesn't get too busy, particularly during weekday mornings outside of season. It attracts a fair few surfers and body boarders, for the decent waves and uncrowded position. There are also a fair few restaurants running along it, although I...More

Give me Mehdia Beach over Agadir's or Essaouira's any day! The sand is nice, the water color is beautiful. There are lots of little food places just off the beach and there are way fewer tourists!!! By writing this review, i am aware that I...More
