These pagodas vary in size and age. Make sure you get information about them from reading or from a guide. The collection is amazing.

We had a tour guide for our tour and she really helped us to appreciate the pagodas. She was able to describe the symbolism and the more important items we were seeing. We would not have appreciated it as much without the guide.

It’s nice, but nothing special. You should see it if you paid for Shaolin temple as it is included and less than a 10 min walk.

Amazingly large monuments to Shaolin Monks. A forest of beautiful, huge ancient temples. Easy walking, nice paths. Well worth visiting!

Just cemetary for deserving monks. Took a quick walk past them. We were advise against taking picture as they are cemetaries.

Although it is basically a cemetery for the monks it is full of history. It was very interesting to hear the significance of the size and levels of the different pagodas.

It’s basically a cemetery, but with interesting pagodas as tombstones instead. Since this place is so close to Shaolin temple, it’s worth a visit & some pictures. Some tour groups do stop by here for a quick visit.

This place is just 300m from the Shaolin Temple. All local tour groups only visit the Shaolin Temple and left, hence this place is rather peaceful and quiet. The pagodas are fenced and scattered, with different sizes and designs, an indication of their religious status....More
