This is an average beach, not the best of Brazil. The ocean is a bit too rough, not safe for kids. DO not go to Grand Palladium Imbassai Resort, it has the worst customer service.

It’s a good quiet beach without too much people, quiet. But it has lots of big waves not safe for kids so they have to stay in the shore always.

Quieter, more beautiful and relaxing than nearby Praia do Forte. Long sandy beach, with cooling breezes. Good waves for surfing but safe for swimming. Adequate bars and restaurants, pleasant friendly people, and easy access from Salvador. Very safe.

A most stunning beach. Excellent for sun bathing, walking seeing sea turtles hatching eggs and watching the whales go by.

A quaint small beach town north of Salvador. There is an open stretch of beach with restaurant huts for meals and drinks. The river runs parallel to the beach. You can swim in the river and the beach

The beach is not so friendly, but the view is incredible!! There's a river that meets the beach, this part is very nice to have fun.

We've been coming to Imbassai every year for the last ten years. The beach is incomparable, still desert, specially when walking to Santo Antonio's direction. We always stay at Reserva Imbassai.
