Independencia is the central avenue of an open marketplace with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and street vendors. It's well worth the effort to visit. You'll find upscale jewelers and trendy home goods as well as larger than life religious statuary. High quality leather,...More

We loved going to the little shops and the small vendors. This was our go to place for supper at the different restaurants. Lots of activity the whole week we were there.

I was able to introduce my partner to this lovely quaint pedestrian walkway on a historical street. The architecture is a must see for it's age. A little too busy and crowded, but it was Mother's Day. The shops were nice. In the evening most...More

Lovely for walking and shopping. Beautiful shops. Eventhough you're not shopping, you can stop in a café for a coffee or a beer, or even wander around and don't spend a penny.
