The beach itself is beautiful, white coral sand and amazingly colored sea. Too bad for the whole side dish and for the local population. Huts / stilts that occupy the water's edge, garbage of the local population everywhere, no one bothering to clean, boats of all kinds crowd the water. Honestly, if there were no local people this beach (and the island in general) would be a real gem. They are probably used to that, they don't notice how beautiful the place they live is and that people spend money to go there! I'm very sorry about that. One last note for the whole island: to get around the whole island it takes 1 hour, because the local people use mopeds on mopeds even just to do 10 meters ???? it is inconceivable !!!!! do you want to ruin a place? ask the Filipinos!

Facing west mens it is the perfect place to watch sunset for most time of the year.. Be brave and walk up a bit on the left of the logon beach towards the tip of the shore seawards. You will be rewarded by a beautiful sunset with some amazing stone formation (due to wave actions) as an interesting foreground.

Take a rest on beach enter the water snorkel come back and take the sun bath. This is what we did. Malapascua has some amazing clean waters and you can see corals within few metres entering the ocean.

Powdered white sand but it has a lot of trash, in the beach and in the sea. In fact the whole island is a trash bin. It seems the dive shops in the island doesn't care about the issue about trashes in the ocean. This island is a paradise for divers but they doesn't care at all. What's important is they earn money and doesn't care for the environment which makes me sad. Too bad this tiny beautiful sad is now a tiny trash bin island.

We went in Jan 2018 it was clean and swimmable. No Junk or other boats as described in some other posts. we took a boat from Ocean Vida to the beach (20 mins). Was a fun experience. There is no food or drink vendor anywhere close so bring your stuff with you

These days both beaches – Bounty Beach and Logon beach are just a big junkyard with dozens of boats parked up randomly everywhere. As a result instead of enjoying the visit at the beach going for a walk, you have got to squeeze between boats and its anchor ropes. No to mention about sea grass EVERYWHERE around the island, which means that you won`t swim in this water… The whole Malapascua Island is without a shadow of a doubt the biggest disappointment in my traveler`s life.

Nice sandy beach but lots of boats are anchored here. You have to walk farther to be in a deeper part of the water. Which means this beach is best for kids. A family friendly beach. Be there only when the boats are out. And get off when the boats arrive.

A nice beach near lots of resorts & restaurants. Soft white sand. It's ok for swimming but lots of seaweed & broken coral. As mentioned before, there are a lot of Banka's on the shore which tend to get in the way of any meaningful swimming.
