I only stopped here for a couple of minutes to take some photos. The local fishing village backs on to this beach and as you would expect there were boats everywhere. The nearby Langub beach is the beach to spend time at.

Guimbatayan beach was our last stop during the island tour (by habal habal!)
It is very beautiful - pure white sand, clean, powdery, wide beach - and it is really long - must be about a kilometer long.
There is a resort at the northern end, if you feel like eating something. We stayed for nearly 2 hours here - just walking, playing in the sand, building castles, writing names, jumping for wacky shots, scenic photos (the water is amazingly blue!) and relaxing.
We waited to see the sunset - it is not a pure sunset in the water, but rather behind the trees.
On the whole, I would highly recommend coming here. (The beach is a good contrast to Bounty beach, which is less wide, and has so many resorts and restaurants)
How to reach?
Take a habal habal - it takes 20 minutes from bounty beach. The road is okay, but the last leg is a mud path.

To get to Guimbitayan beach you can either go by boat or by following the the twisting path through Guimbitayan village. Here's the instructions: Follow the path into Guimbitayan and then follow the motorcycle tire tracks (left, right, left, right, right, left, left, right, right, left) Not surprisingly it's very secluded and a great place to have a BBQ fish. If you get there early in the morning like I did there's a good chance you will find a fisherman bringing in his catch. I bought a couple of fish and handed him and extra P100 to get some charcoal, a knife, a couple of plates and some calamansi (like a bitter lime). He also arrived with a couple of cokes and a glass. I'll never forget this beach.

My husband and my 14 year old son did the cliff jump and had an amazing time. However, the passage to the cliff jump has been completely blocked off. They ask you to pay the 25 peso per person but once you get to the other side it’s all blocked and you need to either climb over barbed wire, break through a several layered corrugated kind of path blocker or what we did scramble over some rocks then climb around the fence. Once there though it was a fantastic jump. It was high tide and min deep was 5m.
Another option would be to hire a boat to take you there and swim into the grassy area between the rocks and the house.
and climb up.
It’s greedy locals that done this as I am sure the path wasn’t blocked before.
The beach is amazing though... there are boats moored, the water is crystal clear and the fine sand is just amazing.
It’s worth the trip. Hire a scooter guy who will charge you 30 per person one way. There’s no place to eat around here so bring food and drinks.

One can tell that it is secluded because of the access tourist can reach there. It can be reach by a banca that is what we did. We hired motorized banca to have a tour around the island but stopped at the Guimbitayan beach. I think it can be reach on foot or bike but more enjoyable the banca ride.to this beach. It's breeze gave you a soft touch and sometimes chilly after dipping from the water.
I love the sand and the presence of peaceful small village nearby. Beach wear is a must.

Once you pay 25 pesos to the house keeper of the dammaged Los Bamboos Garden hotel he will show you the cliff jumping site. Depending of the tide the jump is between 12 and 18 meters high. Initially we thought it was too high....but when he told us a 7 year old jumped....we both jumped, my 13 year old son and myself (55 years old)....since then we keep talking about this great adventure....it's deep and once you jump, no risk of hitting the cliff, so very limited risk....except the heigth.....great souvenir

It's hidden by many fisherman houses one of the more beautiful beaches in Malapascua. Many travellers who manage to find it will be awe by the beauty and serenity of the place. It's a triangular landscape with white soft sand on both side. On the pointed end is a rock outcrop that's where Los Bamboo is. On the base of this triangle there is a new resort. Attractions around is the lighthouse, a 2km of white sand beach, local fisherman daily life and a sunken ship. It maybe hard to find but it's worth it for me ask around for direction. Simply beautiful yep.

We walked here which was interesting through the island. It was a but too hot so we managed to get a motorbike ride back. Very different from the south beach and worth a hike.

Nice to sit and chill but beach has a lot of washed up debris and rubbish. Also not bad for snorkeling but again a little too much rubbish. Snorkel tours drop by and there is a wreck dive near by. Worth a visit, can also incorporate a visit to the lighthouse. Only 50 pesos from the busy hotels on the back of a motorbike

Walked 2km from Blue Corrals (approx 30min) but you can ride a habal2x on your way to guimbitayan beach. Too bad when we arrived at the beach, a not-so-good guard is telling us to not swim in the beach. I mean, we do understand that it's now a private beach owned by Kandaya Resort, but telling us not to swim in the beach is sooooo unacceptable. The beach is created by God so anyone can swim on it. Even the locals can't swim in their just at the side of the beach. Too bad in your very own country you can't swim in your own beach. And that guard should be trained to talk to tourist with manners. Was literally disappointed when we arrived after our 30min walk. Also foreigners who are not staying from Kandaya resort in Daanbantayan are not allowed to swim in "their" beach.
