Divelink is the place to dive and stay when visiting Malapascua . Located on quite & relaxing side of the Island Divelinks cozy modern beachfront cottages are very comfortable and located next door to very good resturants. Diving with Divelink is a must there experianced local staff of Divemaster will provide very satisfying dives for all levels of divers. We have been to Malapasca many times and we recommend Divelink as the place to Stay,Dive,Relax.

As a group of experienced divers, we appreciate the services both above & below the water.

Dive Guides (DM): 5/5 - great thanks to Francis and Ryan! You both are very friendly and enthusiastic to help look for nice sea creatures!

Dive arrangements: 3/5 - for all dives, due to low tide in the morning, we need to take a transfer from small motor boat to the dive boat. However, for all the occasion, we need to watch out ourselves not to get bumped to the wood poked out from the dive cruise. That’s the only part we dislike due to safety reason.

Dive package: 5/5 - very clear and fair pricing with no hidden cost. Besides daily marine park fees, there is no extra cost to get to outskirt islands (eg Gato)

Dive points: 5/5 - besides Monad Shoal for Thresher, Gato Island is great, Chocolate island, Deep Slope are all good points for small creatures, soft corals are magnificent there, and of course the shark tunnel at Gato gives a great experience.

Overall, recommend Divelink for their local expertise, especially to Gary, who are the Master of Dive Guides on Malapascua. Heard that 80% of the DMs are trained from Divelink. Gary, his research on Thresher Shark is key and help the world to better understand & respect the living of this special creature!

DiveLink has the best accommodation if you are a diver or not. Its nestled at the quiet part of Malapascua Island. Villas are newly renovated. Its close to restaurants..so one will not go hungry.😊 At DiveLink, the locals will lead you the way. Divemasters are really good and experts to show you where the thresher sharks are.

Thank you for our dive master "Renato" nickname known as a "shark whisperer" :)
The diveshop is very professionally operate by the locals who know all dive sites like their own hands. We did 9dives including mandarin and gato islands. Sadly the
Ship shaft was broken when we went diving at monad for the last day so we didn't have a chance to get to Kalangaman as planned. However, the risk and crisis management were well managed by the crews and mr.sharkwhisperer. We are highly recommend them and will go back there and dive with them again

We did a total of 12 dives with them (6 each) and it was just lovely! Our guide was Ronie who is amazing, very experienced and knew the dive sites well. He is also very patient n a very safe, responsible dive master. He is also very open to discuss which dive sites we wanna go, giving us advice on which is good n worth visiting, keeping in mind the current for the day too.

We went to Gato island and the tunnel was quite an experience as a dive site. Would recommend that. But we didn’t get to see the white tip reef shark there. Ronie then suggested going to the south wall, saying that if the sharks aren’t in the tunnel, they would be there. True enough they were!

We did the thresher shark dive twice n both times saw the shark. On the 2nd trip, even got to watch it swim for a good 20 mins or so. Ronie is good in his judgement call n knew when to wait or to move on to another cleaning station.

We also did the mandarin fish dive at Lighthouse twice. On the second dive, the place was crowded with divers (as shown in one of the photos) n I thought to myself that we won’t get to see it but after swimming around a bit, he found us an area where we had to ourselves n witnessed the mandarin fish mate! He was also very considerate to the fish - which is so very shy! He made sure to place his hand over the torch n not shine direct or bright light on them in order not to affect their mating.

Gary, the owner of Divelink is also very sweet. He chatted with us after our dives n even made recommendations on where to eat in Cebu city since we were due to spend a night there.

Michelle, the receptionist is very helpful in making all the arrangements for us, even for the transfer back to the mainland.

We would certainly recommend Divelink! In fact before arrival, we actually did pre-book dives with another operator but Divelink was so good that we decided to forgo that instead.

Dive with the locals! Let them show you the way.

Highly recommend this dive shop! Nice boats, great guides (Ronie and Bruce, thank you guys!!), and wonderful diving (Thresher sharks!). They did a great job accommodating our group on where we wanted to go and on which days.

The thresher shack was perfect for our group, but is very basic accommodation. Free breakfast was a perk as well!

Thank you for a wonderful couple days of diving!!!

Myself and five of my friends came to Malapascua for some diving, and we were not disappointed! Dive link is an excellent dive shop with nice facilities, super friendly and helpful staff and a great boat. Everyone we met who worked for Dive link was awesome, especially our guides Ronie and Bruce, cant say enough about those two as they led all 8 of our dives and were incredibly accommodating and so much fun to be with on the boat and if you want to see some fun critters on your dives these guys know what they are doing!

Our group of 6 also stayed in the "thresher shack" the hostel style room above the shop which was perfect, clean and well kept. Nice and simple but everything you could want and at a great price. Again the staff here went above and beyond to accommodate our large group and we couldn't have asked for more.
