I am Padi instructor and diving for 45 years, visit many places. This is a very good divingcenter,i can recommended to every one.Well organized and the food ordered outside at the bar is very good and affordable, served by a few friendly girls. The dives were very good and they promise to see sharks, well then you see sharks.Helpful crew and professional.I ordered a dive package on line but did two dive less, these were paid back to me without a problem and a nice free T shirt on top.

We did the open water with this company, specifically with Cristine as an instructor, and it was amazing! She was so passionate and professional, she explained us sooo well all the skills and she showed us all she could under the water. After every dive we were checking on a book the different animals we saw under the water, so we could write them down and remember them. 100% recommended! Professional company! 😊

We decided to do our open water course certification with Thresher Shark Divers (TSD for friends) in Malapascua. At our arrival, Leon welcomed us warmly and went into the details of the course and our stay. He took his time to go over our concerns and questions. Our designated PADI instructor was Christina and she was excellent at her job. Christina eats, sleeps and breaths diving, she loves diving, teaching it and protecting the sea by explaining it to newcomers. She took the time and was patient with us. Her teaching skills are amazing . We are glad we could benefit from the best instructor to teach us the art of diving. Thank very much for all the experience and teaching. Furthermore, TSD offered us the ability to follow the course in French with Christina and the team is multilingual (English,Dutch, Italian, French, etc). The TSD team was also amazing and heartwarming. We shared incredible moments with them: seeing the Thresher sharks and devils ray... or being chased by a sea snake ! Hope to see you soon again !!!

TSD is a very well organized dive shop. They are attentive and make sure all is all right before you do anything with them, from fun diving to courses. It's a bit pricey compared to others (just a bit) but the gap is definitely justified. This is a proper PADI center with super professionals. Dino and Silvia helped us organizing everything and Madeleine has been a great instructor.

A group of 8 of us have just returned from a weeks diving here (15 dive package), and had a fabulous time. The whole staff from the minute we arrived to the minute were leaving couldn't be more helpful or friendly, and it is highly recommended. Diving wise, the visiblity isn't the best this time of year and some of the local dive sites had viz more like a UK summer (7-10m), but the small life here is superb. Personaly favborites in the week ar ethe early (5am) startt o Monad Shoal for the Thresher sharks, and captancillo island, although a two hour boat ride away was stunning, had by far the best viz (20M+), and wall diving as good as the big walls in the Red Sea. There are perhaps not so many big fish in this part of the Phillipines (we heard the occasional boom from dynamite fishing, albeit a long way away as sound carries miles underwater) and I guess this might be the reason, but the smaller stuff is a riot of colour. It i highly recommende dyou go with the local divemasters as they really do know where the small stuff is, and found us no end of frogfish and seahorse (inc the rare pygmy seahorse) which we certainly would not have found on our own (Special thanks to divemasters Wilbert and Junjie). The boats are fine, using their own local style of 'outrigger' boats, but are comfortable, stable and spacious, and the facilities at the centre also just what's needed. Oh, and the happy hour and milkshakes for between dives are fab in the upstairs Oscars bar - we ate there too and loved it (the best onion rings on the planet!) Overall excellent, for a part of the world that has recently experienced a cat 3 typhoon only a few weeks ago it couldn't have been better, and teh small amount of local nooise from repairs ongoing after the storm have to be expected and most certainyl did not cause a problem - in fact it was a joy to see how the folk on the island are crackin on rebuilding their lives with a smile. Thanks to Andrea who onws Thresher, and all her staff
