So guys I really hate to write bad reviews but unfortunately I really felt like it was my worst 5 diving experience. I'm gonna write you what were the pros and cons with the diveshop. Me with 2 friends did the advanced open water course what included 5 adventure dives, 1 night 1 deep 1 nitrox 1navigation and 1 buoyancy dive. Let's start with the cons: everything was unorganized as much as it possible why wasn't it just funny? - The main thing in the island for the divers probably to dive with the thresher sharks. We wanted to see them very much so during the course we had the chance to see them 2 times, once during the deep dive and once during the nitrox dive (also deep dive). It has a pretty big chance to see them in Malapascua. They could be seen at early morning so we had to depart around 5 o'clock to reach they spot by the sunrise. Here comes the first problem. They forgot to fill the nitrox tanks so we had to wait around an hour to depart which meant when we reachd the spot it was already full with boats, we had no chance to see the sharks. When we arrived back no one said nothing non even an apalogize... - They took us two times places what our instructor didn't even know, they just changed their mind before the departure which of course meant after the practice the view wasn't stunning at all. Furthermore once our instructor got lost so had to come up to the surface. - our night dive was still unorganized, actually we started the diving during the sunsat but they didn't check the exact time when it was gonna be comletely dark. Which meant when we came up to the suface after more than an hour it was still light. Such a nightdive... - We felt during the training that we were just a number for the dive shop and just to make more and more money they forced us into their schedule instead of saying at the first place they had no more room for students now. - The food was litlle pricey and the portion wasn't to big. Pros: - We got free breakfast and free bed in a dormroom during the training - The resort staff was very nice - They had a very good pool just next to the sea So as a conclusion I have to say we were very disapointed as we couldn't experience Malapascua as one of the world most beautifull dive site. Unfortunately our second dive was even unlucky with the threser sharks but at least we departed in time. So I defenetly not recomend the thresher cove as a dive center. I wrote this review nearly a year ago. And I didn't uplode it. I wanted to see other dive shops, other advance trainings I wanted to see if everything is just like this place, this instructor like here. Definitely not! And I have to highlight a very important thing I've just learnt. Im doing my Divemaster training so I can see how to teach openwater or advance divers. And I have to say, the instructor who we got was horrible. He didn't teach us anything. Horrible horrible horrible. In my current diveshope they teach even more than that guy taught us during or advanced course. If you can guys or if you want to learn how to scubadive normally, just please give yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I stayed a week at Tresher Cove, in the dormitory. A welcoming drink, a introduction-talk, it is all really professional when i comes to service. The dorm itself feels a little cramped: lot's of bed around a central placed lockers-cupboard. The diving is great. the divemasters/guides are doing a really good job. Thresher Cove is in the northeast corner of the island: isolated from the other tourist areas. This is, depening on your travel style, eather a plus or a downside. A motorbike to the center (try the nightmarket for good good!) is cheap.

Super convient and wicked place to be! Can go dive all day or hang out by the private beach. The staff is so friendly. Yvonne in the restaurant knows everyone’s name with the first encounter and does everything she can to get you everything you want. Archie at the dive shop will have you all set for your dives. Just enjoy the stay.

Had a blast at the thresher cove! The staff is wonderful and helps with everything you need. The dive instructors are very funny so if you go diving you're gonna have so much fun! And the dive sites are amazing, so are the thresher sharks 🦈🤙 You can refill your waterbottle cheap which is a great way to not waste plastic!

I stayed with TCR for 2 nights and can honestly say it’s the best dive resort I’ve been with. The dives are super efficient and it takes no time setting it up. I completed my AOW with Cassy & she was super helpful and cool. The staff are really friendly and make you feel at home right away. The dorms are cool and cheap and the diving is class. Happy days 😃
