Location cannot be faulted - absolutely stunning location - Poor ablution facilities which were dirty and smelly sewerage tanks. No on-site shop over the Xmas period and wifi is available at a hefty charge if you have signal. Wasnt too concerned about wifi as the...More

What an amazing experience this was. I would love to return with children to the main lake as it is such a safe, clean lake to bathe in and the first few hundred metres is very shallow for the young ones. It is also very...More

Stayed at the camping gound one night in our Britz camper. Excellent facilities and hardly any campers. Some sites were boggy ask where sites aren't too water logged. Night sky is amazing very clear. Well worth the stay heavily booked in Summer.

Stopped for a quick swim on a really hot day during a Northland roadie. Beautiful clear blue water, plenty of quiet spots and beaches.

You definitely want to stay at Pine Beach as there are no showers or powered sites at Promenade Point. The views at Pine Beach are much the same for both powered and non-powered campsites.
