Voted one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] properties. As one of Queensland's earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation's Indigenous, natural and historic heritage and culture. With Blinky Bill now present for daily shows, the amazing viewing experiences available at the Wildlife Hospital and hundreds of native Australian animals on display in natural bushland and rainforest settings, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the ultimate holiday adventure for the entire family.

A fantastic place for the family, weddings or a day for couples strolling through the park. We have been there as children and still enjoy a day at Currumbin Sanctuary. A must do for all families.

You have to pay $50 for entry, another $25 is you want to hold koala for 5 seconds and another $2 if you want to have digital photo of it (be aware that they are using flash in dark so you look like sweaty potato) Then you kinda wonder around on your own, can't see much of a animals and... More

We live locally to the sanctuary but hadn't been to it since our kids were little! Today we had our grand kids with us and it was WOW!!!!! It is certainly not just for kids as we all learnt things, saw things and experienced things that will be great memories. The shows were professional and informative. There are many kids parks... We have learned about snakes, birds and echidnas. About tasmanian devil and kangaroos. Climbing was great, train ride is still enjoyable. Nice shopping and good restaurants.

The lorikeet feedings are unforgettable, scary (in the Alfred Hitchcock kind of way) and hilarious - especially watching unsuspecting folks, young and old, as the thousands of pretty birds descend at once to drink sugar water from the pie tins distributed by knowing Park Guides. There's a large area with roaming 'roos you can hang out in and make certain... More

This attraction was a stop on a Contiki tour that I was on and so it's why I went. Holding a koala was a huge excitement for me and it was cool to do. I originally felt okay about it because it's a sanctuary, but after being there it really felt more like a zoo. I'm not sure exactly what's... More

The bird sanctuary is a great place to visit for young and old. There are more than just birds here. It's a really good family day out and safe for little kids. The animals look healthy and happy. Worth a visit.

Nice place! Staff were really helpfull and seems to take a good care of the animals. Unfortunately it was a heavy rain, so we didn't get to see the kangaroos real close. Still, we enjoyed everything. Higly recommend it!!
