I’ve always wanted to get certified as a scuba diver, but being from an area without open water my pickings were slim as far as scuba classes went. I basically had the choice of a freshwater pond or a choline pool. On my trip to...More
Doing my PADI Open Water Course here was the best decision I could have made. From the start, booking in dates that suited me was super easy - Mark was a great help. Following that was three days of scuba diving training and instruction from...More
Our instructors Vinnie and Jack were legends, always encouraging and making sure we were all comfortable and confident in the water. Great three days, awesome diving spot with marine life and good combination of theory and practice. Could not recommend higher! Thanks qld scuba diving!
Very stoked on doing the PADI course with QLD Scuba. My instructor Vini was very knowledgeable and let me progress at my own pace. All other staff were friendly and made everyone enjoyed their dive or swim.

There are no toilets available during the trip. Also there are no toilets at the dive store. I've been there in November 2016 and I suppose nothing has changed so far. They simply can't build a restroom into the dive shop because it's located on a pontoon - therefore no possibility for proper plumbing etc.
Concerning the boat: There's no space for a toilet at all. So your only option is to use the public toilets located at the marina. But this is of course not an option during a dive trip.
Toilets aside and generally speaking: I wouldn't recommend to go diving at Wave Break Island. It's the only spot they go to and it's pretty boring. Save your money and go diving somewhere else, especially if you're already an certified diver.
