Many trials to try. You can picked the right trial according to amount of time you have or your capability. We tried the Tasman Glacier trial first, it stated 15 minutes, but with us seniors, most probably 20-25 minutes, because it has lots of stairs...More

We visited Mt Cook Village at the start of winter & the views of the mountain were just breathtaking. One of the most beautiful places in New Zealand, easily rivals Milford Sound.

September in New Zealand is still consider winter months as the seasons are opposite in the United States. The weather changes at Mt Cook can change very quickly so you need to be prepared for both cold and hot
