Glentanner Horse Trekking (Mount Cook) offers guided scenic horse treks on a high country sheep station - kiwi at it's best! On horse back you will enjoy the world famous views of Aoraki Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki. Glentanner Horse Trekking runs from November through to April each year. Group size must be 1-5 persons. To participate you must be under 100kgs and over the age of 10 years (this can be negotiated based on previous experience). Bookings through Glentanner Park Centre. We loved our trek up the hillside even though we had no riding experience! Our guide immediately put us at ease and gave expert tuition. Fantastic experience, amazing views would highly recommend.

I recently had 3 fantastic horse treks while vacationing in New Zealand. Amazing horses. Brilliant guide. Breathtaking scenery. Wonderful experience. I am looking forward to my next visit to New Zealand and more horse treks in Glentanner! Best regards, Jan Ryan
