We were there last week (mid-April) and we didn't see any floating iceberg nor any floating ice as advertised. The experience was just like having a lake cruise where you were on a fast boat touring around on a moraine lake. With spending appro NZD...More

This boat ride on the lake to view the glacier icebergs (what you see is only 10% of the sheer ice) You get up close to an eye level view and the feel is great. The boat takes you as close as possible to Tasman...More

Glacier Explorers has several tours available but the one I highly recommend is the short hike (1.5 km each way) to the Terminal Lake with the boat ride on the lake. You not only get close to the icebergs, you actually get to touch them...More

Today was a wonderful day trip to visit the Tasman Glacier. Dougie, our boat captain, had highly developed interpersonal skills along with providing a wonderful commentary about what we were seeing and easily answered questions posted by fellow travellers. He also did a comprehensive safety...More

This was an amazing morning’s trip out on Lake Tasman with its white glacial waters and icebergs. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant to be out with and answered all questions expertly. The walk in to where the Zephyrs are kept was an easy...More
