A bit of climbing but a fairly easy walk. Don't expect a lot of wildlife as many species are extinct all over New Zealand due to predators.

This walk is very short one too. I enjoyed the rainforest! One can do this before going tohooker valley or kea point.

This walk is short. It is not far away from the village like Hooker Valley or Kea point. A good walk after meal! It takes roughly 15 mintues to complete.

Lovely short walk (approx. 45mins.) We're a family of 4 with two young kids. It starts close to the accommodation and has stunning ferns and mossy trees. Great way to pass the time when you don't want a long hike.

A rather easy hour long loop, good primarily to see the flora and kill some time, particularly in the rain ( we did it between showers)

This is a very gentle stroll through a lovely wooded area with glimpses of the mountains through the trees. Perfect after a big meal or to stretch the legs after one of the harder treks.

Nice short walk if you have an hour to spare or it's a bit wet to do the other trails. It starts close to all the accommodation. Small climb at the start.

Easy little walk to wind down after a hard day on the other tracks in the Mount Cook area. It's centrally located right in the middle of the village and is easy enough for just about any level of fitness. Keep your eyes open for...More
