I have lived in Auckland most of my life and am ashamed to say i only visited this beach this year. Beautiful clear water for swimming or snorkeling.

Spoiled for choice, Army Bay Beach is a bit underwhelming with other more sheltered beach in walking distance from this one. But great for walks along the beach and a swim.
