As a motor homer (local) this is a great place to hang out for a day and night. Good for fishing and kids to play. You need to watch your kids but it is very safe. Good for dog walking.People bring horses to the beach...More

It's very peaceful, the water is great for the dogs to swim, when he tide is in not deep at all, or go kayaking with the kids or just to walk along the beach, great place to freedom camp very clean toilets.

When tide in and about 1hr either side of high tide can kayak out and around this area. Can also kayak out to matakana island.

Stayed there in a self contained camper van. Walked through the woods and paddled in the clear shallows. Lovely

a nice place to take your children to run and play,safe swimming ,bring a picnic and we also take our dogs for a run and they love walking through the woods .
