Sadly the museum is now closed and the collection is held by the local council on behalf of the people, parts of the collection are on display in the old fire station next to the information centre in Katikati township.

This is a local museum concentrating on the history of the Katikati area, especially the original settlement by Ulster immigrants in the late 1800s. There is also an interesting collection of Maori artifacts, and an extensive collection of old bottles.
