A lovely setting for afternoon tea in the old railway station after a visit to the lovingly restored homestead. Huge scones with fresh cream, homemade jam and gallons of freshly brewed tea. Friendly service from the volunteer staff. Highly recommended.

What a little treasure. Stopped here for afternoon tea and scones. Enjoyed the food and chose a table with great view towards Matakana Island. Explored the old homestead. The volunteers are knowledgeable and salt of the earth. Worth checking out.
