We came across this somewhat by accident. You drive down an unpaved road and park in a rocky field at the end ...don't attempt to drive up the road with walls at either side as it's narrow. Nice old plantation and lovely local ladies will...More

Well-preserved old plantation established by Loyalists. There is a well-informed local guide who adds a lot of value.

I really enjoyed learning about the plantation and seeing the old stone buildings. I thought they were beautiful. My fiancé was not as impressed as me, he said it was a little longer than he would have liked. I thought it was cool!

Go in cool month like March and plan on hiking the trails. Now $10 entry fee and hard to find without help. Great piece of 1700's history plantation life.
