We were staying at the Glencoe House, adjacent to a few trails, one of which led to Glencoe Lochan. We were told a former landowner dug out and built this lochan for his wife. The lochan has a level path around it, and the stroll...More

Magical forest and lochside walk, enjoyed by kids and dog equally. Give yourself an hour to do the circuit and enjoy the tranquillity.

This loch is certainly a secret as there are no sign posts to it. It is a fairly easy walk but there are options to do other routes that take slightly longer. The loch was just so beautiful. I have to say it was one...More

A nice 1 hour walk around this beautiful small lake where locals stroll around with their dogs and doing their morning peaceful walk. A little gem

Great place for pictures early in the morning (before crowds and/or wind). Nice little walk around the lake.

Real gem. 3 walks that can be combined. 1 is really flat with good access for wheel chair, push chair or kids and less mobile.

A short walk from Glencoe Village through woods brings you to the lochan. A lone deer was feeding by the car park and continued even though we were very near to it. The lochan is accessed by paths suitable for a pram or wheelchair, and...More

Didn't realise what we were coming to when we followed the walking path signs, how beautiful. We visited on a grey rainy day and it was still lovely. Great picnic spot.
