Please don't miss seeing this museum when staying in Sperlonga. A small selection but beautiful, and moving too. Maybe because everything is so of a piece, the sea, the light, the air and these beautiful objet d'arts.

This is incredibly cool! The museum and grotto get very few visitors. We were basically alone in rooms with 2000 year old artifacts with no ropes keeping you back or any visible security. You can reach out and touch history- not that I'm recommending you...More

This is a small museum but very enjoyable. The main attraction is Emperor Tiberius' grotto and remains of his villa. You need to do this with a tour guide who can explain the history of Tiberius and bring this all to life. We loved the...More

So this place is great even if you don't care about archaeology. It's a very small site...just a small museum (that houses RIDICULOUS ancient Greek statues--very rare, since most got burned in later years) and then the cave where Tiberius had his fabulous dining room,...More

This is a three in one attraction, also known as the Villa of Tiberius. It is a museum, an archaeological site as well as a grotto.

My wife and I went here for our Anniversary. The inside museo tour was very cool but it continues outside throughout the Villa and cave area. Very cool and well preserved.

A small but interesting museum with some good exhibits. English translations through out. Was glad of the air conditioning when we arrived after a long walk in quite intense heat! Really enjoyed walking to the Grotto itself with its fish ponds.

The small museum at Villa Tiberio has some very interesting sculptures on display. These were originally placed in the villa and above all the cave (grotta) and must have been truly impressive at their prime.
