Super place. A great workout to go up and then after you can dip into refreshing super clear waters. Highly recommend if you are in west Crete.

We booked the excursion from Scaleta not really thinking the photos would meet the expectations. After a 2 hour car journey we arrived at the harbour and then began our 2 hour boat journey. The boat supplied food, water and sun umbrellas. When we arrived...More

Quite a trek to reach the top but a great place to hunt for treasure . There is a good path going up but a few crumbling walls and steep drops at the top.

It takes little time and some effort to reach the fortress, but its well worth it. View is amazing, and you can feel history. Beach is also with crystal clear water.

Take a cruise to the Gramvousa Island and see the shipwreck, then travel to the Balos lagoon for a totally amazing experience. Very spacious, tranquil and romantic

We went on a ferry. It dropped us to the beach using tenders and then they came back for us at the allotted time. The ferry then took us across. I didn't see any water taxi's. People generally visit both places in... More
