Only an hour from Santa Ana the park is really easy/cheap to get to - whether you take a tour shuttle or local transport. The hike is easy for anyone with even a basic level of fitness and the sulphur lake at the summit it...More

Very nice drive on the ridge over the lake and a great spot for lunch on a sunny day. Not far from Santa Ana.

Easyish trek to craters edge with our two kids aged 9 & 10. Fun if a little slow on the weekend when lots of locals also go up & home made delicious Ice Lollies for sale await you at the top :-)

There's a Tourism Police post at the entrance of the Campo Bello property. They do tours to the Izalco and Santa Ana volcanoes. Call the Campo Bello office at +503 2271-0853 they can give you more information. cheers.
