This heathland course rivals any 9 hole course in the country. A hidden gem, dates back to 1895. Challenging holes, 80 odd bunkers, old world charm, great catering, bar, changing rooms. Pro shop, buggy hire , an atmosphere that is very welcoming everybody made to feel at home.

The Clubhouse has been transformed from a comfortable and traditional experience into something like a transport cafe. Disgraceful. Those responsible should be ashamed.

We recently played nine holes of golf at Flempton - a challenging course with some picturesque views. After our first nine holes we enjoyed a drink sat outside, and then followed it with a further nine holes. It was an idyllic way to spend a Sunday with my husband.

The club house, which is under new management, was very quaint, friendly and inviting. In the current climate, it was reassuring to see strict covid-19 protective measures (a one way system, perspex screens, social distancing, hand sanitiser etc).

We have lived nearby for almost 30 years and it is lovely to finally be able to walk out locally for a pleasant evening and a tasty three course meal.

We enjoyed it so much - we have booked again for next week!

Very difficult to put in words as it has some stunning features, although only a 9 hole healthland course, it is set in the middle of a bird sanctuary, amazing view from all holes, recent work to course has seen a vast improvement and the level of 'return' players is very high. Club house is very welcoming and food good. Can't recomment it highly enough for golfers of all levels, well worth a visit.
