We did this hike one late afternoon. The path is well maintained but you still have an incline to go up. It was just us and a few other couples we passed, so it was quite nice. The view of Mount Cook and the glacier...More

From the Hermitage Hotel, maybe a hour walk each way. Fantastic views the whole way, as well as at the terminal point of the walk. A well maintained trail that is easy-to-walk. It is well labeled so no chance of losing the trail.

We took the track on a story day and wind gusts were so strong they actually blew one of us off the track. The view from Kea Point is best when the weather is clear.

We only had a few hours, and did this walk as recommended by an employee at the Hermitage (between this or the Tasman Glacier walk). It did not disappoint! Stunning valley views, easy trail, beautiful wildflowers. There is a platform for photos and a few...More

A nice easy walk, best done on a clear day. We had no choice due to weather (which can't be helped), but still enjoyed the walk

This is a fun and easy walk for just about anyone. There were people with strollers on the trail. There's a section with a boardwalk, and the rest is pebbly and rocky but nothing that's too difficult to manage. At the end there is a...More

A short but more than rewarding walk. Still challenging on a hot day! Scenery and glaciers all around with a great viewpoint at the end. The return walk is just as good.
