Nice beach to swim on and one of the only beaches in Vieux Fort. Tides push in sea grass but it’s not bad and well maintained by locals on the beach. Ask for Marcus and rent a chair and grab a coconut drink or a beer,

Very nice beach. Upside, not many people there and fantastic view and breeze. Downside, quite a bit of trash laying around and some seaweed....worse on the western side of the beach. 2 nice beach bars. The Reef Beach Cafe is the better one.

We had a few hours to kill before flying back. Pretty beach though not great for swimming. A couple of restaurants serving Caribbean food. Just go and see Marcus (the sun lounger man) and he will look after you

Our relatives live ten minutes from this beach and we've been to visit 3 times in the last ten years. Every time we spend hours on this beach. It's untouched by tourism and the perfect place to chill out. There's an excellent value beach bar that serves food and somewhere to kite or wind surf hire. Our 3 and 5 year old enjoyed many a happy hour there in May this year. It's on the Atlantic side so the sea is quite choppy but perfect to cool off in and the beach is completely sandy so no need for shoes in the water. Some days there can be sea weed but it just depends on the weather really. Perfect stop off on the way back to the airport

Wishing we had gone here sooner! Unfortunately we went to this beach on our LAST day in St. Lucia! We had a 4:30pm flight home, and what better way to spend the rest of your day than at the beach? We were very happy our flight was delayed another 1.5hrs so we could spend more time here!

Plenty of places for us to park our car under shady trees, running all along the beach. Families local and visiting on a Sunday, made for a fun environment! Plenty of places to eat and watch the wind surfing! No fear for safety, just be smart with your things like you would anywhere you go!

Yes it’s veeeeery windy, but that’s what you get for this side of the island! The sand was beautiful, water a bit chilly, but the sun so warm! You could swim here if you’re up for it, and a strong swimmer!

Awesome place for a chill hangout, great beach, and plenty of good food! We recommend The Reef Beachside Cafe!

If you don’t have a room at the resort you have two options. Prepay $50 per adult to drive your vehicle down to the shuttle lot or pay $10 to park up top and walk down a steep road for 30 minutes. The prepaid money is good for food and drinks with were the best we had on the island. Once on the beach, renting the nice chairs under the thatch huts is $50 per chair and that can not be used for a food credit. Water and reef was excellent. On our first visit, my niece stepped on a lion fish. This resulted in a half day stay in the hospital and days of a swollen leg and ankle and the most severe pain she had ever experienced. Despite that, she couldn’t wait to get back and we returned two days later so she could snorkel again. Definitely the best reef on the island and a very helpful, supportive staff. Warning: we found two more lion fish the next day which the staff removed via spear gun. Wear water shoes!!!!

Nice beach too relax on especially at the restaurants on the beach which are reasonably priced. Be very cautious cause robbery happens there sometimes during the week when it's often secluded, but there's usually beach parole there. Its better to swim on the left side of the beach the waves are calmer there. it may be very noisy on holidays locals normally come with loud music...

A lovely beach but there is quite a lot of seaweed about. The hotel management however, do a good job of clearing it regularly every day and it didn’t make any difference to the enjoyment of the beach at all.

The large bay that sits in front of you while looking at the Maria Island right in front of you and the Atlantic beyond that is pure joy.
Moon on the water is a beautiful thing to see.

We came here by recommendation for the snorkelling - which was very good, but the best part of this beach was the setting, nestled right between the Pitons. What a glorious view to enjoy for a day!

There are complimentary beach chairs, shade and restrooms all on the 'public' part of the beach. Graciously maintained by the resort there, they were in good condition and toilets cleaned regularly.

The smoothies were pretty pricey, but delicious.

You will need to catch a shuttle through the hotel to get to and from the beach from the car park. A receipt from one of the resort restaurants or bars is needed for the return leg (not the beach guys). A drink will suffice to get the receipt.

The beach itself is quite small, and for a Monday was surprisingly busy. I don't know what the weekends would be like!

Definitely bring your snorkel gear, there was lots to see both in deep and shallow waters in the Anse Piton Marine park right off the beach.

If you want a relaxing day, and enjoy the Pitons at the same time, then this is the place to be!
