If you’re in the Highlands you have to stop off and see the bridge! This isn’t the first time I’ve been here, but the first with such a lovely sunset. Nice village, the quaintness of the bridge is retained despite the road passing alongside.

We drove down from Inverness to Edinburgh and stopped along the way. They have a nice area to take pictures in front of the bridge in town.

Built in 1717 to enable pack horses to cross the river to take corpses for burial this old bridge, celebrating its 300th anniversary this year, is an interesting historic landmark worth a look if passing through or close by to Carrbridge.
