We spent most of our time in the sculpture garden. The maintenance planning was a bit disappointing: several main attractions were not accessible because of that during high season ! Fortunately, the huge garden has a lot to offer. Well worth the visit if you...More

Stopped here en route to Germany. Pleasantly surprised by the delicious menu. Paintings were also a nice touch. Beer and wine were moderately priced. The tomato soup was a bit overpriced and not spiced at all.

The museum is set in a beautiful park. Plenty of parking, and a short walk to the entrance. At the gate you buy tickets for parking and the museum. I was surprised to see so many Van Gogh paintings in the museum. The famous “potato...More

My cousin said it was worthwhile visiting this museum but I had no idea of what to expect. It is out of this world. First of all the museum is in the middle of a forest. The presentation of the van Gogh collection is outstanding...More

Fantasic surrondings and a lot of nice paintings over the centuries. The van Googh part is outstanding.

We arrived at the park at 12, so we expected to have enough time to see the museum and the garden. That was a mistake, the museum takes at least 2 hours to enjoy, and then there is the huge sculpture garden which has wonderful...More

We returned from our trip on July 27, 2018 and one of the most memorable adventures were the 13 kilometer bike ride to the Kroller-Muller Museum via the DE HOGE VELUWE NATIONAL PARK bicycle system. Get one of the free 1800 white bikes at the...More

In the middle of a pristine national park lies a national treasure of a museum with an extensive collection of Van Gogh paintings and numerous paintings of contemporaries. In the enormous garden around the museum an eclectic collection of (100+) sculptures from famous sculptors complements...More

You do not need to book in advance. Nevertheless check on their website as there is a special on Van Gogh where you might have to. You can take a train to Arnhem and then a bus or taxi. Taxi from Amsterdam will be expensive... More
