Simple and graceful, in the tiny village of San Giorgio on a hilltop in the Valpolicella area (beautiful view of the hills and valleys, all the way to Lake Garda), the church and the cloister attached to it are worth a visit if in the...More

Very eerie old 8th century church with many wall frescoes but very difficult to enjoy due to the bad lighting inside the church.

The frescos and ancient altar were can't miss historic sites. The church is built in the old Roman style and the views across the street are beautiful

On the front door is a note in Italian saying to go in the door in the cloister. We tried many doors before finding the correct one. The church is dark and has many frescoes that you will want to see so be sure to...More

Hard to know when the church is open except for Sunday mass which is a great pity because the view from up on top of this tiny town is best in the late afternoon. Church and the outside stone areas on its approach and courtyard...More

Worth visiting, kept in good conditions and ideal for a stroll. This ancient Romanesque parish church is located just aside a small medioeval church, which has to be visited as well.
