Lotta Svärd Museum is owned by Lotta Svärd Foundation. It is located in Tuusula around 30 km from Helsinki Center. Easiest to go by own car. It is composed of the museum, museum shop and a cafe. Really worthwhile to visit. The museum is small...More

The museum presents the history of tje organization in an exemplary way, everything written in three languages: English, Swedish and Finnish. Lots of memorabilia, photograps, medals and clothing on display. The canteen provides coffee and pastries.

If one is interested in Finnish history this smallish museum. There you find information on history of Finnish women during war time. Exhibition is nicely put and informative. There is down stairs a cafe&restaurant where you eat deliciuos soups or have coffee with sweet bread....More
