There are all of nature. Mountain is a good shape. Lake is wide where you can take a walk and row a boat. Around lake are a lot of restaurants. You can eat a nice foods. Enjoy your life in Lake Haruna.

After the shrine if you have time take a bus to the lake. It’s only 10 min. The lakes spectacular. Well worth a look. The bus you get back on will take you directly to main train station.

It's a nice relaxing place for a stroll if the weather is nice. But as far as picturesque lakes go, this is nowhere near as nice as lake Chuzenji in Nikko. But... Haruna is a lot easier to access and the weather around Mt Haruna...More

Visiting in Early April, The snow still covered some area. And the lake was partially covered by ice. It was romantic scenic view. At the lakeside have some restaurant and shop, you can use toilet in those shop.
