If you àre around, it is a nice place to visit, free of charge, 30mn to visit the museum. Nice people in museum and even in one part, they explained you how to do origami

The museum took me an hour or so to admire and take pictures of: there were nature themed origami parks, momiji (red maple leaves) and animals, historical depiction of the 忠臣藏chushingura (ronin 47) at the castle fight scenes, whimsical farm houses with fox and birds...More

Hi, I am travelling to Japan in February with my sister, and she loves Origami, but i'd like to know if this is possible to get to, without going too far out of our way. We are Flying in and out of Narita, so our itinerary is looking like: - Fly into Narita, Take bullet train to Tokyo. - Stay 2 days in Tokyo then take bullet train to Kyoto. (2.5 hours) - Stay 4-5 days in Kyoto - Then Maybe 2 days in Osaka, 2 days in Nara - Then travel to Shiga Kogen (near Nagano) (4.5 hours bullet train then 1.5 hour bus) - Back to tokyo for 1 day before we fly out of Narita. Does anyone know which of the places we are staying is closest to this, and which would be the quickest and easiest way to get there so we could change some of our trip to include a day at the museum? We don't know much Japanese, so I want to make sure we don't get lost or try something too difficult. Thank-you!
