Excellent eating even if you are not waiting for a train. Music Friday brilliant but arrive early to get a seat. Food very reasonably priced, every day eating menu, polite staff and a very warm welcome.

Excellent in the small museum category. Very informative and well laid out and nicely restored. The history of its restoration and the hard work put in makes it come to life.

If you love the film you will love visiting the station, tea room and heritage centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I especially enjoyed the chance to dress up and have my photo taken ☺

Was really interesting place to visit liked the memorabilia it has. Was surprised to find out was free however they do ask for donations. Had coffee & cake in the cafe, like that cafe is period themed too.

Also the film Brief Encounter is continually showing at the heritage centre so it would require extra time should you wish to watch this!
