Beautiful promenade, amazing views of the lake, magnificent palazzos, boats, gorgeous trees and flowers - what is there not to love? Salò is charming - next time we will stay there.

What a joy! A magnificent walkway along a lovely lakeside. So picturesque that will take photos galore. One of the prettiest places in the world.

Very picturesque and lovely, with people, ducks, boats and blue below and above on a nice day. If you're in Salo you got to do it! However, at 2030 in the evening it was deserted. This was May. I expect in summer it's different.

A beautiful stroll to look at the lake, watch people go by and find a coffee shop (Vassalli). Salo is a lovely town.

This as a good place for a walk in the sunshine. The city does a great job of keeping it clean. Occasional pieces of art are to be found along the way. The town center is a block away and follows the waterfront. Naturally, there...More

We were fortunate enough to rent a villa in the hills overlooking Salo, so the promenade there was the view from our terrace. It delighted both day and night and looked just as pretty at both. Walking the promenade with ice cream in hand is...More

Salo has the longest promenade of all the towns on Lake Garda, and its great for an easy stroll while watching life on the lake and checking out the numerous places to eat and drink.
