Went here on the Dotto Train, fantastic. Climb up to the top of the stairs, 300 or so for a magnificent view of the area. It would have been interesting to go inside and meet the nuns, but it wasn't to be, oh well.

If you are feeling energetic you can walk up from Sorrento along one of the small tracks to Sant'Agata. From there you can walk to Il Deserto, where the monastery is situated. From its tower the views are stunning, from Capri round to the Bay...More

It was cloudy when we went and we can only see Sorrento and nothing else. I can imagine it would be an amazing view on a clear day. It’s an easy 15-min walk from town. Definitely do it.

A lovely quiet space and a great view of Capri, Sorrento - a complete 360 degrees is worth the effort of getting up there.

Quiet place to stroll and reflect. A nice way to walk off pasta, take great pictures and be still. Not worth a special trip although there were tour buses a plenty around.

Beautiful views from here. Definitely worth the walk up!! Very peaceful. The monastery opens the viewpoint at certain points of the day. It’s free to go up and is well worth it! There is also a small shop there selling products made by the monks

We visited last week and though the buildings were closed at the time that wasn't an issue as you can still wander up the entrance drive and admire the stunning views from the grounds. It's well worth the walk (10-15 mins) from Sant Agatha and...More

The most peaceful place ever. The views from this place were truly amazing. Never seen anything like it in my life. Ever better than in Capri.

Well worth the money, the train takes you to some lovely viewing spots and the lemoncello factory was a great experience, the little train is a must on your list of things to do

You can just walk up there and enjoy the view and the grounds but if you want enjoy the view from the roof top, the best thing is to go on the Little Blue Train
