We were here at the beginning of November 2017 and found the water too cold for our liking, but we did see a few people swimming in the very clear water every day. The beach wasn't busy but there usually were a dozen or more...More

Chalikia Beach has the best swimmingwater. Pure and crystal-clean water. And Chalikia Beach is idyllic with a fantastic view over the sea. It is a stone-beach, but there are sunbeds and sunshades. The best cafe in the town, Votsalo, is located 20 meter from Chalikia...More

Pebbled beach, a little problematic to get into the sea, so shoes/sandals are a good advice. Once this is solved, this is a good place for swimming, long stretches, close to shore if needed. Sufficient sun beds and parasols for rent, open air showers available...More

Excellent beach, into which we headed forcedly, as it was so windy at the sandy beach other side of the peninsula that there was sand in the air feeling like needles. But, a really good accident! A very rare beach consisting purely of these around...More

when the wind is too strong on the one direction yoy have to try the other beach ! This beach named chalikia is the right beach, with ombrellas and beach bars.

Very nice beach and very clear waters. Still, you may need some plastic shoes if you want to get in and out easily. Interesting that there are messages - text written at the bottom of the sandy sea with little stones taken from the beach!

Clear clear water, breathtaking views, and so convenient for the town and the local tavernas. Take some suitable footwear to walk down to the water ( a very short distance ) as walking on the pebbles can be painful, but worth it! There are plentiful...More

Back in Paleochora is back to Chalikia Beach. Chalikia Beach is so wonderful. The view over the sea is fantastic beautiful. The Beach-service is good. Votsalo is only 20 meters away. The swimming-water is pure and clean.

Water here is spectacular clear and much underwater life to view for snorkelers. Pebble beach is not easy to maneuver, but long chaises for rent (once was free).
