Have visited most of the D-Day museums around Bayeux over the years but visited this one for the first time and I was very impressed. Excellent range of displays of uniforms, objects and vehicles. Well presented in English and French in a fairly neutral way....More

I think this is one of the best museums regarding the landing. Well organised and setup, lots of space and with French/English text. The artifacts and movie are giving a valuable and impressive image of the landing. Looking at the beach, sea and memorials outside...More

This museum is constructed around the remains of a German concrete cannon bunker. Sons of a WWII American pilot organized the creation of this museum, complete with a fully restored B-26 Marauder bomber. History buffs will love this museum.

Lots to read and see, including lots of real artefacts. All wheelchair accessible with lifts. Beautiful view out onto the “landing ground”. Well worth seeing if you’re in the area.

Very well organised with many dual language boards. Films in English and those that weren’t had subtitles. There was a facility to use your phone as you walk round

Very interesting and worth a visit. 2 floors of exhibits a cinema and a large hangar. It was warm inside . I found the memorial exhibition remembering the German prisoner of war camp located close by very interesting.
