One of the benefits of travelling with a tour guide is you do not miss these gems. Great recognition of a war time leader. well worth the visit to honour the men known as the Band of Brothers

Situated by the roadside look for the flags. Parking for just a few cars but worth a stop and reflection.

Can be hard to find, but considering his contribution, effort needs to be made to visit the memorial and spend a moment reflecting on his leadership

This is not only a great tribute to Major Winters but a real tribute to the small unite commanders and their leadership during WWII.

Was driving down the road from the museum en route to Carentan and saw the monument. A fitting memorial to one of America's finest soldiers of the second world war. LEADERSHIP

This is a great monument, remembering our paratroopers and the leaders which arise in battle. It's in an interesting location, namely at the intersection of 2 roads.

Lovely memorial for the late Richard Winters. However I felt it was in the middle of fields with no where else to go.
