Read other reviews & we did not have to pay to park. We parked on beach side & walked the short distance to the cathedral. Went during off season so no train for us. We did walk the 1km to the other side the see...More

Great for history buffs, nice scenery, plenty of pay parking. Some folks walked in, others took the train. Interesting history and worth the trip. Cafe on site.

you can't miss that beautiful place. unforgettable experience. Can reach it walking from the parking place or taking a small free train.nice little café to enjoy the views on the wine yards and sea.

I've read lots of comments about how peaceful etc. this cathedral is, but in these times of religious and faith inspired violence what came across most strongly was a profound sense of sadness...that this place of faith and worship had been so ravaged....by others ostensibly...More

A peace and beautiful old Cathedral telling the old history. Peaceful environment surrounded by wine yards and water. Suitable for picnic. The beach is some few minutes walk.
