We stopped here on the way from Bonifacio to Sartene. There are some good views along the coast. There is space to park. Worth stopping for a few minutes. There is also a small museum here, but it was closed when we were there.

There are two distinctive parts of visiting this museum: indoor and outdoor. Inside the museum you get familiarised with the rural Corsican life, before the touristic boom. There is also a video that stimulate visitors imagination about the strange animal shape rocks in the area. Then you go out and see the real animal shape rocks, and an old shepherd shelter with shepherd's tools and artifacts. You also have the chance to walk under the maquis shrubs and enjoy their scent. About 25km south of Sartene on the road to Bonifacio, the hills give you a stunning panoramic view of the Golfe de Roccapina and the pink granite rocks. Look out for the Genoese tower and the crouching lion. Plenty of space to pull over and take photos. In spring the hills are alive with wild flowers.…
